LAMP Virtual Appliance

(Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP/Python)

Our LAMP Virtual Appliance is a complete LAMP solution, is based on Ubuntu and is only 160MB to download. The 32 bit edition uses Ubuntu Server Edition 8.04 JeOS and the 64 bit edition uses Ubuntu Server Edition 8.04.

This LAMP Server is uniquely easy to use. At startup the wwwroot of Apache HTTPD is shared via CIFS/Windows Networking. This makes copying content and installing Apache HTTPD applications as easy as drag-and-drop.

MySQL and phpMyAdmin are onboard, and are ready to go on first boot with no further configuration.

In addition:

• 1.7GB of free space on the virtual hard disk
• Automatic use of Virtual Hard Disks for practially unlimited storage
• Zend Optimizer onboard, for improved PHP performance and use of Zend Guard code
• The Webalizer pre-installed to provide access and analysis of web server traffic

Ubuntu patch and package management is included. Adding packages, and updating the OS is now as simple as running apt-get or aptitude.
